Material guide
PFPE oils, vacuum pump fluids and grease
Compare PFPE base oils, vacuum pump fluids and PTFE-thickened grease using grade-specific viscosity, temperature and application data.
VN-FL-1029 and VN-FL-1032 contain multiple perfluoropolyether oil grades listed for grease base oils and industrial lubrication. Their product tables separate each grade and its physical data.
VN-FL-1031 provides a separate series of PFPE vacuum pump fluids. VN-FL-1033 is a grease with perfluoropolyether base oil and PTFE micro-powder thickener, listed for valves, O-ring seals, bearings and high-vacuum lubrication.
What to check when selecting
- Specify the complete grade code, including the G suffix, when comparing a table or requesting a sample.
- Compare viscosity at the same temperature and retain the stated test method; base-oil viscosity is not grease consistency.
- For vacuum service, check the pump requirements against the selected grade, including the relevant vapor-pressure and temperature data.

Selection questions
Is PFPE grease equivalent to PFPE oil?
VN-FL-1033 combines PFPE base oil with PTFE thickener. The oil series and grease therefore require different selection criteria; use the data for the intended product form.
Why does the grade suffix matter?
Each product series contains grades with different tabulated properties. A family name alone does not identify the viscosity or other values required for your equipment.
